A lovely way to start the day with tea or coffee from a handmade original breakfast cup – made with care and to a specially large capacity – as I am such a big tea drinker especially first thing in the morning! Each cup is individually thrown on the wheel with a hand pulled handle attached. The floral decoration in green, red or purple with contrasting black is painted onto the leatherhard surface in bold gestural brushstrokes, using colourful underglazes and sealed with high temperature glaze. Every cup is unique and therfore will vary very slightly in shape and decoration. Collections can be made up to include matching or contrasting colours – choose from green chrysanthemums, red roses or purple anemones.

Bowls
Small hand thrown bowls make perfect sugar bowls or cereal bowls to co-ordinate with cups for a pretty afternoon tea set. Other matching items such as jugs or tea plates can be made to order. Larger bowls can be used to hold fruit or just to sit decoratively on a display shelf. Excercise your individuality by putting together a unique collection of pieces in different finishes.
